Holy Week begins
Triumphantly
only to drop
into the depths of hell
by betrayal,
by death.
To live again.
Parallel journey
Our lives
flow like a stream
through beautiful mountain passes,
over rocks,
creating ripples,
at times
blocked by walls
built to contain,
only to be breached,
forging new pathways.
What is not overcome
remains.
What is not forgiven
remains.
Some call me son, brother, godfather, cousin, uncle, writer, author, veteran, and friend. That may be true, but mostly I am me - a unique human being who has run the race of life through many different forests, down many roaring rivers and along some tangled paths. All in all it has been a good journey of growth and expansion of self. I am a lover of family, animals, food, laughs, poetry, books, compassionate people and chasing the light.
My first journey into writing is Quiet Thoughts: Written Reflections. It is a book of poems and reflections - a small flicker of light into my life journey.
I currently reside in Emmaus, PA and enjoy all that the Lehigh Valley has to offer.
